A few years ago, Ashley Greene was just another aspiring actress living in Los Angeles. Auditioning by day and waiting tables at night, she finally got her big break playing Alice Cullen in the mega successful Twilight movie franchise.
With only one more vampy movie left to premiere, Ashley is moving forward in her career, but not without some reservations about what the future holds.
The 25-year-old, who graces the cover of Nylon magazine's August issue, spilled that she has to keep things in perspective while living in the spotlight.
"I was working at the Belmont Cafe in LA, then Twilight happened. I got the call, and two weeks later was rehearsing," she said. "Right when I was cast, my IMDb STARmeter went through the roof- all of ours did, and we hadn’t even done anything yet! Now I have to remind myself that not everything is going to be like that.”
Even knowing she might not have that kind of movie making experience again, she's looking forward to the future.
"I’m excited to move on to the next thing and take advantage of all the opportunities we’ve been given, she said. "But at the same time, it’s kind of weird- we’ve been doing this for four years.”
