Has anyone been missing Davey Havok and Jade Puget as much as us?! The guys have been working hard on their side project, Blaqk Audio, and I was super stoked to be front row for a performance at an AMAZING New Year's Eve party in Beverly Hills, thrown by Anaheim Angel's pitcher, C.J. Wilson and his brother, Ryan Wilson of Los Angeles DJ duo, Hi-Deaf.
Blaqk Audio took the stage shortly after midnight to perform a six song set including "Semiotic Love," "Stiff Kittens," "Again and Again," as well as three new songs from their yet-to-be-released new album, "Bright Black Heaven."
Notable guests hanging out included Rancid's Tim Armstrong, Jessie Malakouti of Jessie and the Toy Boys, Brian Dales of The Summer Set, designer Jac Vanek, Jeremy Dawson of Shiny Toy Guns, DJ Keith Wilson, LA Ink's Dan Smith and actor Daveigh Chase.
Rony's Photobooth and Mark Hunter aka The Cobrasnake were there to capture the night, which had enough Red Bull on hand to keep everyone partying until the early hours of the morning.
